How to play Melodies?
While a bar is a must, harmony must be just!
In Melodies, the order of your cards is engraved into the vinyl. Once the riff kicks in, your hand is fixed—strictly no rearranging allowed!
Your mission? Get into the groove!
Each turn, a song card is revealed that dictates the score you must follow.
Play cards strategically to form winning combinations using the hand fate has dealt you—no remixes, no cheating—just the pure thrill of a tempo that never stops.
RESTRICTIONS
Perfect Chords: Sequences and Sets to Rack Up Points
There’s no standing ovation without flawless execution. To win, you’ll need to play cards that form an ascending or descending sequence (1, 2, 3… 3, 2, 1…) or card sets of the same value (7, 7, 7…).
The card value most played by the band becomes the Melody for the current note!
Every card you play propels you toward the top, but one slip-up changes everything for your band. It’s a true cooperative jam session where communication is limited—you can’t talk your way through this. You have to get into the groove.
One wrong note, and the whole band messes up. Finish the song with no cards left in hand!
The World Tour: Play Through Evolving Scenarios
You can’t stop after just one song! Melodies takes you on a real tour with evolving scenarios that shake up the rules at every stage. The game turns up the volume: from rehearsals in a dingy garage to a wild, legendary stadium show, every victory unlocks tougher challenges that put your nerves to the test. The progressive difficulty forces you to adapt without ever slowing the tempo.

THE BAND
DISCOVER THE STORY BEHIND EACH BAND MEMBER!
Livia aka Bubble
Lead singer.
Her Inner Rhythm
Livia is reserved, introverted, and not very talkative. She has a strong presence without ever overdoing it. Behind her rebellious look, she is highly structured, serious, almost rigorous. Her charisma comes from this constant contrast between control and intensity.
Her Musical Score
Livia works in a laboratory. She belongs to a precise, scientific, demanding world that contrasts with the band’s raw and instinctive energy. This double anchoring gives her a unique depth: she belongs both to the world of method and to the world of expression.
Her Singular Note
She is fascinated by blobs and even keeps one with her, like a strange but familiar presence. This detail reinforces her scientific, singular, and slightly offbeat nature.
Her riff
Livia is the band’s natural leader. Not because she dominates, but because she gives direction. The others gravitate around her calm energy and inner solidity.
Clarence aka Rubble
Bassist. Sensitive technician and quiet pillar of the band.
His Inner Rhythm
Clarence is discreet, tender, shy, and deeply gentle. He has the rare quality of characters who reassure people quietly. He is also a real mama’s boy: still deeply attached to his mother, his home, and the emotional foundation that shaped him. Where others might try to distance themselves from that to seem tougher or cooler, Clarence fully embraces it. It makes him touching, slightly offbeat, and very human.
His Musical Score
Clarence works in an animal park, in maintenance or upkeep. There is something careful and protective about him — someone who will always stop to help a small creature in trouble.
His Singular Note
He loves animals almost instinctively. He also has a slightly crazy dream: one day, to invent a machine that can make animals speak. He always carries his pet frog in his pocket.
His riff
Clarence is a quiet force in the band’s balance. He offsets the more vivid or expressive personalities with his softness, patience, and reliability. The band’s adventure begins in his mother’s garage.
Rosie aka Scribble
Drummer and songwriter. The creative and visual heart of the band.
Her Inner Rhythm
Rosie is dreamy, spontaneous, bright, and a little scatterbrained. She has something childlike in the best possible way: a way of looking at the world with freshness, instinct, and freedom.
Her Musical Score
Rosie is at a turning point. She is not yet settled into a clear path and is still figuring herself out, driven more by her impulses than by a defined plan. She wanted to apply to art school, but missed the registration deadline, and is now spending the year focused on music with the band. This kind of floating state suits her well: Rosie moves forward by instinct, and that is also what fuels her creativity.
Her Singular
Her drawings can mix skulls, flowers, hearts, and naive symbols all in the same breath. With Rosie, punk is never harsh: it stays alive, funny, and tender.
Her riff
Rosie is Rob’s little sister. Their duo brings a strong family dimension to the band, built on protection, trust, and long-standing complicity. Together, they bring a very special warmth to the band.
Rob aka Trouble
Guitarist. The band’s hands-on maker.
His Inner Rhythm:
Rob is deeply endearing. His awkwardness makes him instantly likable. He is very grounded, very hands-on, but never rough. In some ways, he is candid, a little battered, often hurt by his own DIY projects — but always ready to start again.
His Musical Score:
He carries the whole DIY culture of the Undercity within him: salvaging, welding, assembling, making do. With Rob, nothing is too broken to be saved, and nothing is too unlikely to become an instrument. He knows how to turn wild ideas into real objects.
His Singular Note
He is often covered in small bandages, the logical result of his tinkering and chronic clumsiness.
His riff
Rob is Rosie’s older brother. He naturally plays a protective role with her, without ever holding back her energy.
